CONSTRUCTION
Conductor: - Class B compressed concentric stranded bare copper
Conductor Shield: - Extruded semi-conducting thermosetting polymeric layer
Insulation: - Ethylene polypropylene rubber type EPR
- 133% insulation level, semiconducting insulation shield / insulation thickness of .220"
Insulation Shield: - 5 mil copper tape
Assembly: - The insulated and shielded power conductors shall be cabled round with fillers and with a grounding conductor in one outer interstice and covered with a binder tape.
Armor: - A single strip of aluminum interlocked armor
Jacket: - Red PVC jacket
- Flame and sunlight resistant
Applications:
- For use in aerial installations, direct burial, metal racks, open trays, troughs, or continuous rigid cable supports
- Rated at 15kV, 133% insulation level (underground system)
- Operates continuously at a maximum temperature of 105°C for normal operations, 140°C for emergency overload operations, and 250°C for short circuit conditions.
