Conductor: - Solid thermocouple wire
Insulation: - Flame-retardant 105°C PVC
Individual Shield: - .002" polyester backed aluminum tape
Color Code: - Per ANSI MC 96.1-1982
Pair Identification: - One conductor of each pair is numbered
Overall Shield: - .002" polyester backed aluminum tape
Drain Wire: - 7 strand uninsulated tinned copper with continuous contact with shield
Jacket: - Colored 105°C FR PVC
Applications:
- For use in wet or dry locations, temperatures up to 105°C, in thermocouple systems which have multiple pair construction requirements
- The PVC jacket can be used in many environments as a result of resistance to acids, alkalies, moisture, abrasion, and weather
Approvals:
- UL Listed Type PLTC
- UL Listed under Subject 13
- Passes IEEE 383 - 70,000 BTU Flame Test
- Complies with NEC Article 725 Class 1 Division 2 hazardous location requirements
- Complies with NEC Article 725 for usage in Class 2 and Class 3 electrical circuits
